I haven't tried this recipe yet, but it's on the menu for tomorrow. Hubby is diabetic and believes you can never have too much cheese on something. My question--is the 602 calories for the 4 chicken breasts? The nutrition info did not include a serving size.
Mac
Melany, When I added the ingredients that I ate to my fitness pal it calculated 634 calories, that was 1 4 oz chicken breast, 1.5 oz cream cheese, 2 strips bacon, and 1/4 c shredded cheddar.
Amy

Misty Perkins
I made this tonight and it was AMAZING! Both kids and husband devoured it. This is definitely going into our rotation. I sauteed onions and red peppers and served on top.

Absolutely love this recipe. I precooked the bacon. Then I put salt, pepper, and garlic on both sides of raw chicken. Cooked it in the oven until no longer pink while that was cooking the cream cheese was softening; I chopped up the bacon and added chopped scallions and mixed both items with the cream cheese. I topped the chicken with the cream cheese and baked a little longer, then added the cheddar cheese and baked until the cheese was a little crispy. I have made this dish before, but whatever this method was, it came out so much better!
