Heather
Very good but so watery! Would love tips as to how to not make it so watery…
Julia
Heather, my most important tip would be to make sure that the chicken is completely thawed (if using frozen chicken) before even starting this recipe. And, do use paper towels to pat dry the raw chicken before using in in this recipe.
Also, if using refrigerated chicken, remove it from the fridge 30 minutes prior to starting the recipe and do pat it dry with paper towels.

This was a quick meal after my son’s football game tonight, and they loved it! I used the ingredients, but not the measurements so I can’t say how it was following the recipe exactly, I added some herbs to the chicken when I seasoned. Thank you for sharing!
Julia
Kana, I am so glad this recipe turned out well. I have to agree with you - you don't even need to use measurements here - so simple!
Kim
My friend made this one evening. I loved it so much that I ran out and bought the ingredients the next day. Thank you.
Julia

Randall
I enjoyed the recipe very much and so did my kids. After dinner my daughter's both told me it was too much cream cheese for their liking. I was fairly surprised and didn't think they would have even one complaint about it. I guess I'll cut back on the cream cheese next time. I am having a hard time figuring what pairs well as a side.
Julia
Randall, this recipe will definitely work well even if you reduce the cream cheese amount in half.
You can serve this with baby new potatoes. Or, any roasted veggies: asparagus, carrots, broccoli.
Or, serve this over fine pasta, such as angel hair pasta or spaghetti.
Joanna
I tried this recipe today for dinner. My husband and me are on keto diet and it is perfect for us. I served with green lives salad, very tasty. Thank you for your blog

Will the bacon burn since you pre cook it before putting it in the oven?
Julia
Kristin, no, it will not burn. You might save a few pieces of sliced bacon and add it on top of the chicken towards the end of baking time for presentation purposes.
