Easy Crepes stuffed with Jam or Fruit Preserves. I provide the recipe for how to make crepes from scratch. The easiest way to fill the crepes is to just use berry or fruit jam.

Easy crepes with jam or fruit preserves

Crepes filled with jam or fruit preserves used to be my number one childhood breakfast favorite! Growing up, I used to really look forward to weekends when my mom would start making crepes for me and my sister which we then would fill with different kinds of berry jams and fruit preserves. Cherry, peach, raspberry, blackberry, black currant, and strawberry jam fillings were my favorite!

Easy crepes with jam or fruit preserves

I am not a big fan of toasting a slice of bread and then spreading a jam over it, but I do like jam-filled crepes! So, if you asked me what was my favorite way to eat strawberry or raspberry jam, it would definitely have to be as a crepe filling.

Make crepes from scratch using my recipe for homemade crepes.  If you are gluten free - make my gluten free crepes.

Easy crepes with jam or fruit preserves

I like these jam stuffed crepes even better than Nutella-filled crepes. Fruity crepe fillings are so much better and lighter than chocolate ones! Try it for yourself and you'll see!

I have decided that you should either write a book on food photography or at least teach classes on it. Or both! These photos are stunning!

When we make crepes, it's usually with a sweet filling too (sometime a savory one, but not often). Jam is one of our favorites! They're also really good if you sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on them, and then roll them up. I haven't made crepes in ages -- now you've got me hungry for them!

I love crepes sprinkled just with plain sugar, not even with cinnamon! Love them! 🙂

I grew up eating crepes, too...but the hubby prefers the standard pancake. Your photo has given me a huge craving...hubby may get a surprise breakfast tomorrow 🙂

This is my go to dessert when sweet cravings hit! So simple but sooooo good! I actually made some last week after trying to ignore my cravings but it was no good. I had to get up and crank out crepes, though what I make are usually English pancakes, similar but a bit thicker. I love the photos with the jam seeping out, gorgeous!
