    Squirrels

    It's always a challenge to capture a squirrel on camera, because they get spooked so easily, even at the sound of movement of the camera lens. I tried many times to get close to them, hoping they won't run away but they do. Lately, I've been lucky and was able to capture a couple of squirrels on camera, while they were letting me get somewhat close, curiously looking at me and making clicking noises. I wonder if I am they only one who likes to chase squirrels with the camera. Here are some of those shots:

      Julia,
      I once had a "pet" squirrel that would come to my balcony every few days. I started to feed it some nuts and it started to visit every day at the same time. I made sure not to feed it too much so it wouldn't get lazy foraging. Fun times at the old apartment, hehe.

      Although your pics are great and I enjoy their busy..ness..
      I hate them yes I said hate..here in our yard..They eat veggies..bulbs....:(Not my fave little rats for sure.:)

        Yeah, squirrels belong to a family of rodents, so yes, they are technically rats (although cute looking). I didn't even know they eat veggies from the garden, that would upset me too. I just see them run up and down pine trees with cones in their mouths.
