I've made this recipe twice, second time I modified it just a little. I didn't like the raw taste of the garlic, so I saute it with 1 tablespoon of butter, then cooked the spinach in it. Then added to the recipe as indicated. It came out delicious, best spinach and artichoke dip I ever made, and I've been cooking over 40 years now.

Yes, it's a great tip about cooking the garlic first in butter, then adding spinach.

I was just wondering if you can make this recipe ahead of time and maybe heat it up in the oven before serving ?

Hello! Do you have to use the Greek yogurt or sour cream? How will it turn out if you use all other ingredients but those? Thanks!
