Cilantro Lime Honey Garlic Salmon fillet on a plate, with a fork

Cilantro, freshly squeezed lime, combined with honey and garlic and salmon creates a really winning combination of flavors! This cilantro lime salmon baked in foil is so easy, you can make it in 30 minutes!

Cilantro Lime Honey Garlic Salmon on a plate

Here is how to make this salmon baked in foil. First, place the salmon (1 pound) on a large piece of foil:

    raw salmon on a foil

Then, mix all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and pour over the salmon:

chopped fresh cilantro, chopped garlic on top of raw salmon on a foil

Next, fold foil sides and ends up (1 or 2 inches high) tightly around the salmon. Place the salmon in foil on a baking sheet. Do not cover salmon with foil, leave it open and bake it just like that, at 400 F:

raw salmon fillet with chopped fresh cilantro and chopped garlic in a foil

After about 15-20 minutes of baking, carefully remove salmon from foil, separating the salmon from the skin which will remain stuck to the foil. Place salmon onto a serving plate. Carefully scoop the sauce from around the salmon and pour over the salmon:

Oh my goodness, this was incredible!! I used Mike's Hot Honey and it brought a little heat to the dish. It was amazing. Will definitely be making this again!

Delicious salmon! Great flavors and very easy to make. I made the recipe as is but cooked it 20-25 minutes as I like my salmon cooked all the way through. It was still very moist! My family loved it! Great recipe!

Absolutely delicious. I’m diabetic and put a little less oil and honey, but it was very tasty

A truly wonderful recipe! I roasted some broccoli right on the same baking sheet and had a glass of white with this delicious salmon. I loved cooking it in the foil, easy serve and clean-up. Tomorrow it will top my salad....can't wait! My new go to salmon recipe....thank you!

The salmon recipe was so good, one of the best I’ve ever had. I substituted lemon juice for lime. I will definitely make it again! Thanks

This was amazing. I never follow a recipe to the t but I decided to give it a try. I made 3lbs of salmon with this and before my sides were finished all of the salmon was gone! This is going into my weekly fold.
