Sugar Cookie Martini is a creamy holiday cocktail with white chocolate, vanilla vodka, and amaretto that tastes just like a sugar cookie in a glass. Mix it up for Christmas parties or December movie nights!

Sugar Cookie Martini (White Christmas Cocktail)
If you're looking for the kind of holiday cocktail to sip while watching a Christmas movie or hosting a holiday party, shake up my Sugar Cookie Martini - because it's Christmas cocktail time! It's perfect for cold, snowy December nights, and it tastes like a freshly baked holiday cookie in liquid form. Serve it with my whipped shortbread cookies, cute chocolate hazelnut thumbprints, or Christmas ginger molasses cookies. I made it with vanilla vodka, white chocolate liqueur, Irish cream, and a splash of amaretto, plus heavy cream and a touch of vanilla extract to bring it all together. I like to serve it in a chilled martini glass, rimmed in white chocolate and Christmas sprinkles for instant festive flair. If you love holiday mixed drinks, try my Christmas cranberry-orange mimosa and blood orange margarita next.

- What you'll need: ice; vanilla vodka; white chocolate liqueur; Irish cream; Disaronno Velvet (or regular amaretto); heavy cream; vanilla extract. For the rim: white chocolate and Christmas sprinkles.
- How to make a festive rim: Rim a chilled martini glass by dipping it in melted white chocolate, then into sprinkles; let set.

Vanilla Vodka
Vanilla vodka is the backbone of this Christmas cocktail, giving it structure. Without it, the drink would taste a little flat. Vanilla vodka is neutral enough to let the creamy elements shine, but the vanilla flavor reinforces everything we love about sugar cookies: warm, aromatic, and comforting. Using standard vodka with a splash of vanilla extract won't produce the same depth, so it's worth using the flavored spirit here.

White Chocolate Liqueur
White chocolate liqueur enhances the sweetness and creaminess of the martini. It adds a silky texture and a hint of cocoa flavor that mimics frosting or cookie glaze. Brands like Mozart and Godiva both work perfectly. If you buy only one "extra" bottle for holiday cocktails, this is the one you'll use again and again. This liqueur pairs so well with my carrot cake cheesecake and my raspberry lemon cake!

Irish Cream
Irish cream brings richness and smooth undertones. The mild coffee-chocolate notes in Irish cream help to deepen the sweetness rather than just making the drink sugary. This ingredient is what makes this Christmas cocktail taste like a proper dessert! I also don't mind serving plain Irish Cream alongside my flourless chocolate cake or with salted caramel cheesecake.

Disaronno Velvet Cream Liqueur (or Amaretto)
Almond flavor is essential in anything "sugar cookie." I love Disaronno Velvet Cream Liqueur: it's creamy, pure white, and packed with almond-cookie aroma, giving the cocktail a beautifully elegant look for White Christmas parties, girls' nights in, or birthdays. If you can't find it, regular amaretto works beautifully, just reduce the amount slightly because it's stronger. You can even make my amaretto shortbread cookies while you're at it!

Heavy Cream + Vanilla Extract
Heavy cream makes the drink richer, thicker, and more indulgent. It softens the alcohol while enhancing the dessert-like feel of the cocktail. A tiny amount of vanilla extract ties everything together, so the first sip tastes just like a sugar cookie. For a three-ingredient shortcut, you could combine vanilla vodka, Irish cream, and amaretto. The cocktail won't be as chocolatey but still tastes very "cookie-forward".
