Apple Cranberry Spinach Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette – healthy, delicious, easy-to-make salad! Perfect for the Thanksgiving menu, this is one looking holiday salad.  With lots of good for you ingredients, this recipe is packed with fiber, and it’s gluten free!

While this salad is especially great for the holidays, such as Thanksgiving or Christmas, it has such easy-to-find ingredients that you can make it year-round!

Just slice up the apples (one Gala apple and one Granny Smith apple), and combine with other salad ingredients, except the dressing:

Add the Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing (the creamy kind) right before serving:

Apple Cranberry Spinach Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette


  • 10 oz fresh baby spinach (about 10 cups of torn leaves)
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
  • 1 Gala apple, sliced
  • 1 cup cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • Balsamic Vinaigrette, the creamy kind (store-bought or homemade


  1. In a large bowl, combine all salad ingredients, except for the salad dressing.
  2. Drizzle the salad with the dressing and toss. Serve immediately.
