Good afternoon, I am confused about the lemon brownies recipe, it says to add butter and cream together but there's no cream on the ingredients to add????
Hi Dana! The lemon brownies don't contain any cream. When the instructions say "to cream the butter," it's referring to mixing or whipping the butter until smooth and fluffy. I could also use "whip" or "mix" in place of "cream" if that helps!
This is the best recipe collection with outstanding photos and suggestions for making the salads I am looking forward to trying and receiving them thank you!!
Hi Mike! You are so kind!! I'm thrilled to hear you're excited to try the salad recipes. 🙂

Hi Vanita, welcome to my site! 🙂 🙂 While I don't specifically categorize or cater to vegan recipes, many of my dishes can definitely be adjusted to suit a vegan diet. I love that you're excited to give them a try, and I'm sure you'll be able to make some delicious tweaks! 🙂

Hi Julia! I prepared your Roast Duck Recipe with the brussels sprouts vegetable medley ***** on 12/25/2020. It was absolutely delicious and looked beautiful too! I have a photo of it (magazine worthy, I’m told. ) that I have shown to friends and family. I tell them how delicious and easy this recipe is to prepare. I’m making it for Easter dinner. I know, not a typical Easter dinner, but hey, it’s ok to veer away from a traditional menu, right! I’m looking forward to exploring/trying many more of your recipes and won’t wait so long to post.
Char, I love that you made it for Easter—it's always fun to mix things up with a non-traditional meal! 🙂 I’d love to see that magazine-worthy photo sometime, and I truly appreciate you spreading the word about the recipe. 🙂
Please do share your feedback on future recipes, I love hearing how everyone puts their own twist on them. Looking forward to hearing how your next dish turns out! 🙂
Hi Julia, I make a lot of freezer meals to take to my daughter in Chicago (I am 4 hours away). Do I make as recipe states, cover n freeze or do I do anything different? Once frozen then taken out to eat, what is the best way to warm up of dish? Can wait to try! Thank you, Kathy B
Hi Cathy,
1) Yes, you can typically make the dish, let it cool, refrigerate, and freeze it within one day of preparation. Just be sure to use an airtight container or freezer bags.
2) When you're ready to enjoy it, thaw the dish in the fridge overnight, then reheat in the microwave for 1 minute, followed by 30-second increments as needed.
3) Alternatively, you can reheat it in the oven at 350°F for about 30 minutes (in an oven-proof dish), or until it's fully heated through.
4) For each recipe, I usually include specific storage and reheating instructions to help guide you.
Hi Julia
your recipe for the Thai Shrimp soup is missing a bit under "brown the shrimp". Like the shrimp!
Cheers

OMG! Thank you for pointing that out, Jean! I just fixed that! 🙂
