    Elks

    Elks

Elks taking a stroll along the road into the woods. There were so many of them, I wish I had my regular camera with a zoom. Instead, I just had my phone, so the photo quality is not the best, I couldn't zoom in close as I wanted to. The elks were not in a hurry: they took their time to think, to walk one direction, then another. One elk was so relaxed, he actually laid down and was curiously looking around, while others were deciding where to go and what to do next. They were not stressed, not afraid of the unknown, not wound up about what to do next. Watching animals and nature has a magical way of rooting me into calm and peaceful state of mind. There is so much to learn from them.

How amazing is it that you have elk wander about. Here where I'm at, there are no elk wander about. If there is one thing I like more than food, I'd have to say it's nature.

I can't believe you took that photo with your phone. It looks professional. I'd happily display that as artwork in my house. Nature is incredible.

I love capturing moments like these.... Not too often you see scenes like that, unfortunately.

The day was really gorgeous and sunny, no wonder these guys came out of the woods.
