Hello Julia,
On a recent trip to Canada (I’m Australian) where we stayed with friends who cooked us some amazing meals, many were your recipes!!
Since coming home I’ve cooked four of meals:
Tuscan Shrimp
Shrimp risotto
Pan seared chicken breast
Creamy spinach Gnocchi
Plus a few others!!!
Julia, I have to thank you!!!! I am NOT a cook and I don’t enjoy cooking, I think it’s from raising three children, working full time etc I was just so busy, I found it a chore. Now I’m 62 and I just can’t be bothered anymore. Well, till now!!! Even after a day at work, I’m a high school teacher, when I’m exhausted, I’m happy to cook one of your meals!! They’re so easy to follow, I’ve not yet made a mistake, they don’t require a thousand ingredients, they’re quick and…. Soooo GOOD!!! My husband says… “Jenny you’ve made some great meals lately”
Thank you Julia!!! So much, you’ve turned me into a cook!!
Take care,
Jenny xo
Jenny, you just made my whole WEEK!!! 🙂 Seriously, I’m grinning ear to ear reading this! 🙂 I’m so happy my recipes made cooking fun again for you—even after teaching all day! Love that your husband is noticing too, haha! Sending you big hugs all the way to Australia! 🙂
Hi, I can't get the subscribe button to work on the webpage. Nothing happens when I click on it. Is there another way I can subscribe?
Hi Sandy! Thank you for letting me know! I just moved the "subscribe" button to the top of this page (it was at the bottom), so you should be able to subscribe now: https://juliasalbum.com/subscribe/
I sent you an email yesterday asking for measurements for six people. I have a dinner tonight. Can I just add more orzo and shrimp to accommodate? Or should I make two batches?
I hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks
Hello!! You can manually adjust the number of servings within the recipe card! The number of servings is clickable and adjustable with a slider.
Click on the default number of servings (usually 4), and increase the number of servings to 6 by dragging the slider to the right. I hope this helps! 🙂
My family loved your Apple Spinach Salad! Looking forward to your emails.
That salad is one of my personal favorites that I make all the time!! Welcome to my site, Brenda! 🙂
You seem to like shrimp! The best sustainable shrimp in the world come from Woods Fisheries. The Barcode on the cases tell you where and what time they were caught, the boat that caught them, and the bycatch released, and other things. You should talk with Ed Woods sometime. He primarily sells to Wegmans and WholeFoods but loves talk about shrimp and will sell to most retailers no matter how small.

I do love shrimp! Thanks, Bob! 🙂
