We loved this, I substituted old cheddar as that was all I had. I also added some sprinkles of balsamic vinegar with the olive oil, and it turned out amazing.

Hi Gwen, I wouldn't use canned asparagus - it will have a completely different texture than fresh asparagus.

What other cheeses if any have you tried? If not, which ones would you recommend? Thanks, this looks wonderful. Trying tonight.

You could use Asiago, Parmesan, Pecorino Romano, Mozzarella.

Saw your recipe for peanut sauce. It calls for fish sauce. I am allergic to shell fish. Can you please tell me what kind of fish is in the fish sauce?? I love peanut sauce especially pad Thai but afraid to eat it and no one can tell me what fish is in fish sauce. Thank you. Love your blog❤️

I'm allergic to shrimp, but I can eat things with fish sauce. Not sure what is in it, but apparently not shrimp.

Fish sauce is usually made from pressed anchovies.
